10 µH shielded wirewound for DC-DC rails
The LQH3NPN100MJRL is a 10 µH shielded wirewound inductor from Murata's LQH3 series, rated for 530 mA continuous current with a saturation floor of 810 mA. The ferrite core and full shield keep flux contained — no crosstalk into adjacent traces on a dense power rail.
DCR and saturation — the loss and linearity numbers
DC resistance is 288 mOhm max — at 530 mA the I²R loss is about 81 mW, which the 1212 body dissipates without significant self-heating in still air. The saturation current of 810 mA means the inductance holds within ±20% up to that point; beyond it the core saturates and the inductance collapses, so the rail's ripple current must stay below that ceiling. Self-resonant frequency is 30 MHz — above that the inductor behaves capacitively. For a buck converter switching at 2–4 MHz the margin is comfortable; for a 10 MHz switcher the parasitic capacitance starts to shunt the winding and effective inductance drops.
Board-fit: 1212 footprint, 1.2 mm seated height
Surface-mount in a 1212 (3030 metric) package — 3.00 mm square, 1.20 mm max seated height. The low profile fits under a 2 mm clearance on a mezzanine card or a tight set-top box enclosure. Ferrite core material handles the 105 °C upper operating limit, so it lives on a board near a hot regulator without derating.
