Active automotive-grade inductor — 10 µH shielded wirewound
The Murata LQH32PZ100MNCL is an active-production drum-core wirewound inductor rated for 10 µH at 900 mA continuous, with a saturation current of 1 A. Its 354 mOhm max DCR sets the conduction loss that drives self-heating in the power rail.
Parametric envelope — DC-DC filter and EMI choke fit
The 10 µH inductance is tested at 1 MHz, and the shielded ferrite core keeps the AC flux contained — radiated EMI from the inductor body stays below the limit in a 48 V or 12 V buck converter layout. Self-resonant frequency is 30 MHz — the inductor behaves as an inductor well below that, so it suits switching regulators switching at 500 kHz to 2 MHz without hitting the capacitive region.
The nonstandard package designation means the pad layout matches the Murata-recommended land pattern for the LQH32PZ series — no adjustment needed for reflow solder paste volume. Surface-mount assembly on standard FR-4 with a 0.10 mm stencil; the ferrite core is moisture-insensitive, so no bake-out is required before reflow if the tape-and-reel seal is intact.
