Active production, 470 nH shielded power inductor
The Murata LQH32PNR47NNCL is a drum core, wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, shielded with a ferrite core. It delivers 470 nH inductance at 1 MHz test frequency, rated for 2.9 A continuous current with a saturation current floor of 4.4 A.
DC resistance and saturation headroom
28.8 mOhm max DCR keeps conduction losses low at 2.9 A — expect about 240 mW self-heating at full rated current. The 4.4 A saturation current gives roughly 1.5× headroom above the thermal rating, so the inductor doesn't roll off early under transient loads. ±30% tolerance is typical for power-grade ferrite drum cores; the actual inductance at rated current will sit near the lower end of the band due to DC bias. The 100 MHz self-resonant frequency is well above any switching regulator loop, so parasitic self-resonance won't interfere in a 1–2 MHz buck converter.
1210 footprint and reflow profile
The shielded ferrite core means no magnetic coupling to adjacent traces or components on the same layer, so you can place it tight against a power IC without worrying about crosstalk. Supplied on tape and reel or cut tape, standard for pick-and-place.
Temperature range and deployment context
Not rated for extended automotive under-hood temps, but fine for infotainment or body electronics where the ambient stays below 85°C.
