6.8 µH shielded power inductor for DC-DC rails
The Murata LQH32PN6R8NNCL is a 6.8 µH shielded wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, built on a ferrite core. It handles 1.1 A continuous with a saturation floor of 1.3 A, meaning the inductance holds up under load until the core saturates just past the rated current. The 264 mOhm max DCR sets the I²R loss at full current — about 320 mW dissipated in the winding, which the 1210 footprint and ferrite core sink into the board copper. The self-resonant frequency of 40 MHz keeps the inductive impedance dominant well above the switching frequencies of most buck converters.
Shielded construction and board-fit note
Shielded construction means the magnetic field is contained within the ferrite shell — adjacent traces or nearby inductors on a dense power rail won't couple noise into this winding. The ±30% tolerance on inductance is typical for power-grade ferrite cores — the saturation current is the tighter spec for rail regulation.
