10 µH shielded power inductor for DC-DC filtering
The Murata LQH32PN100MNCL is a 10 µH shielded wirewound inductor from the LQH32 series, built on a ferrite drum core with a ±20% tolerance. Rated for 900 mA continuous DC current with a saturation floor of 1 A, this part suits power rail filtering and DC-DC converter output stages where the load stays under the 900 mA mark and the peak transient does not exceed the saturation limit.
Shielding and self-resonant frequency
Shielded construction contains the magnetic flux, reducing radiated EMI to nearby traces and components — a practical advantage in dense mixed-signal layouts where the inductor shares a board edge with a sensitive ADC or RF front-end. The self-resonant frequency of 30 MHz means the inductor behaves as an inductor well below that point; above 30 MHz the parasitic capacitance dominates and the impedance rolls off, so this part is best applied in switching regulators switching below 3–4 MHz where the margin to SRF is at least 10×.
