3.3 µH shielded inductor with AEC-Q200 qualification
The Murata LQH32PH3R3NNCL is a drum core wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, shielded construction, rated 3.3 µH ±30% at 1 MHz test frequency.
Current handling and DC resistance
Rated for 1.55 A continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 120 mOhm — the DCR sets the I²R conduction loss at full load, so at 1.55 A the self-heating is roughly 288 mW before accounting for core losses. Saturation current is specified at 1.9 A, meaning the inductance drops 30% at that bias point — the 1.55 A continuous rating leaves a 22% margin below saturation, which is typical for a power rail filter where the DC bias stays below the knee.
Shielding and frequency response
Shielded ferrite core construction contains the magnetic flux within the component body — this reduces radiated EMI coupling into adjacent traces or components on the same board, which matters when the inductor sits near a sensitive analog front-end or RF section. Self-resonant frequency is 50 MHz — above this frequency the inductor behaves capacitively, so the useful filtering range for this part is below 50 MHz, typically in DC-DC converter switching frequencies between 500 kHz and 5 MHz.
