1.5 µH, 1.75 A — the DC bias limit and the DCR loss
The Murata LQH32PH1R5NN0L is a shielded wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, rated 1.5 µH ±30% with a DC current rating of 1.75 A — the same figure as its saturation current, meaning the inductance holds to within the tolerance band all the way to the rated load. Maximum DC resistance is 68.4 mOhm; at 1.75 A the I²R loss works out to roughly 210 mW, which the 1210 (3225 metric) body dissipates without exceeding the 85°C ambient limit.
Shielded ferrite core — EMI containment in tight layouts
The ferrite core and full magnetic shield contain the flux field, reducing radiated coupling into adjacent signal traces — a practical advantage when routing a power rail next to a high-impedance analog line on the same layer. Self-resonant frequency is 70 MHz, so the inductor behaves inductively well into the HF switching range of most DC-DC converters; above that frequency the parasitic capacitance dominates and the impedance rolls off.
