1 µH shielded inductor for automotive power and signal conditioning
The LQH32PH1R0NNCL is a 1 µH ±30% shielded wirewound inductor from Murata's LQH32 series, built on a ferrite drum core in a 1210 (3225 metric) surface-mount package. Rated at 2.5 A continuous with a saturation current of 3 A, the 20% headroom between Irated and Isat means the inductance begins to roll off before the DC bias reaches the continuous rating — the part is sized for the peak transient, not the RMS load. Maximum DC resistance is 43.2 mOhm; at 2.5 A the I²R loss reaches 270 mW, which drives a measurable temperature rise in the 1210 footprint and must be included in the board-level thermal budget.
AEC-Q200 qualification and operating envelope
Self-resonant frequency is 100 MHz — well clear of a 2-4 MHz buck converter switching frequency, but for a 100 MHz EMI filter the margin is thin and the inductor behaves capacitively above SRF.
