6.8 µH shielded power inductor for DC-DC filtering
The Murata LQH32PB6R8NN0L is a 6.8 µH shielded wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, rated for 850 mA continuous current with the same 850 mA saturation current. The 288 mOhm maximum DCR sets the I²R conduction loss — at 850 mA the self-heating is roughly 208 mW, which the 1210 (3225 metric) package dissipates into the board copper without exceeding the 125°C operating limit.
Shielding and frequency response for supply rails
Shielded construction contains the magnetic field within the ferrite core, which matters when the inductor sits next to a sensitive ADC or RF front-end on the same board layer. The self-resonant frequency is 40 MHz — the inductor behaves as an inductor well below that point, so it suits switching regulators switching at 1–4 MHz where the impedance stays inductive and the SRF does not limit the filtering.
Footprint and board integration
Surface-mount on tape-and-reel for automated pick-and-place; the ±30% tolerance is typical for power-grade ferrite inductors where the DC bias characteristic dominates the actual inductance drop.
