22 µH, 450 mA — the DC bias ceiling
The LQH32PB220MN0L is a 22 µH shielded wirewound inductor from Murata's LQH32 series, rated for 450 mA continuous current with a saturation current floor of 500 mA. The 972 mOhm max DCR is the figure that governs copper loss at full load — at 450 mA the I²R dissipation is roughly 0.2 W, which the 1210 body sinks into the board copper without exceeding the 125 °C temperature limit.
Shielding and the SRR ceiling
The ferrite core is fully shielded — useful when the inductor sits adjacent to a sensitive ADC or RF front-end on the same layer. The self-resonant frequency is 20 MHz; above that the impedance turns capacitive and the part no longer functions as an inductor. For a buck converter switching at 2 MHz, the margin is a comfortable decade; for a 10 MHz DC-DC or a filter above 10 MHz, the SRR is the hard stop.
