1.5 µH shielded wirewound — the saturation current matches the thermal limit
The LQH32PB1R5NN0L is a shielded drum-core wirewound inductor from Murata's LQH32 series, rated 1.5 µH ±30% with a continuous current rating of 1.75 A and a saturation current (Isat) of 1.75 A — meaning the core saturates at exactly the same current as the winding's thermal limit. This is unusual: many inductors saturate well before the rated current, but here the two figures are identical, so the part delivers its full inductance up to the current limit without a sudden drop-off. DC resistance is 68.4 mΩ max, which at 1.75 A gives a copper loss of about 210 mW — well within the dissipation of a 1210 body. The self-resonant frequency of 70 MHz keeps the inductor inductive well into the HF band, so it works for DC-DC converter switching frequencies up to several megahertz and for filtering in the 10–50 MHz range.
Board-fit and temperature range
The ferrite core is shielded, which reduces radiated EMI into adjacent traces or components — useful when the inductor sits near a sensitive analog front-end or RF section. No AEC-Q200 grade is listed, so it is a commercial/industrial part, not formally qualified for automotive stress tests.
