5.6 µH drum core wirewound inductor for automotive and industrial filtering
The Murata LQH32NZ5R6K23L is a 5.6 µH drum core wirewound inductor from the LQH32 series, rated for 250 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 1.3 Ohm.
The unshielded drum core construction means magnetic flux radiates — keep sensitive traces or low-impedance loops at least one package width away to avoid coupling.
Self-resonant frequency and test conditions
The self-resonant frequency is 28 MHz, which sets the upper limit for effective inductive behaviour — above this frequency the component becomes capacitive. Inductance is tested at 1 MHz, and the Q factor is 20 at that same frequency, giving a baseline for filter Q and insertion loss in LC networks.
Active production and sourcing posture
For BOM planning, the AEC-Q200 qualification reduces single-source risk in automotive builds, but the unshielded construction may require layout review if EMI is a concern.
