22 µH drum core for automotive and industrial filtering
The Murata LQH32NZ220J23L is a 22 µH drum core wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, built on a ferrite core and rated for 150 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 2.8 Ω. The ±5% tolerance keeps the inductance tight for LC filter designs where the corner frequency needs to stay within a narrow window.
Self-resonant frequency and Q factor for RF and power paths
With a self-resonant frequency of 14 MHz, the inductor behaves as a pure inductor well below that point — above 14 MHz parasitic capacitance dominates and the impedance rolls off. The Q factor of 35 at 1 MHz tells you the energy loss per cycle is low enough for resonant tank circuits or impedance matching at that frequency. The 1210 (3225 metric) footprint is hand-solderable with a fine-tip iron — no hot-air station required. The unshielded construction means the magnetic field extends beyond the body; keep sensitive traces or other magnetics at least one body width away to avoid coupling.
Sourcing and compliance
The part ships on tape and reel (TR) or cut tape (CT), suitable for both volume reflow and prototype hand-assembly. AEC-Q200 documentation is available from Murata upon request.
