10 µH at 325 mA — AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive and industrial DC-DC
The Murata LQH32NH100J23L is a 10 µH unshielded wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, packaged in a 1210 (3225 Metric) footprint. It is rated for 325 mA DC current with a maximum DC resistance of 408 mOhm, making it a fit for power-supply filtering and DC-DC converter output stages where the load current stays under the saturation limit. It can be specified into under-hood or cabin electronics without a separate qualification waiver.
Self-resonant frequency and Q factor — what they mean for filter design
The self-resonant frequency (SRF) is 35 MHz. Above this frequency the inductor behaves capacitively, so the part is usable in switching converters and EMI filters up to roughly 7–10 MHz before parasitic capacitance dominates the impedance. The Q factor is 35 at 1 MHz, which sets the AC loss in resonant tank circuits — a Q of 35 means the inductive reactance is 35 times the series resistance at the test frequency, giving a reasonable efficiency for tuned filters at 1 MHz.
