470 µH wirewound ferrite-core inductor
The Murata LQH32MN471J23L is a drum-core wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, unshielded, with a ferrite core. It delivers 470 µH inductance at 1 MHz test frequency, rated for 45 mA continuous current. The 25 Ohm maximum DC resistance sets the I²R loss — at 45 mA the self-heating is about 50 mW, negligible in most signal-filtering or low-power DC-DC roles. The unshielded construction means the flux extends beyond the body; keep sensitive traces or adjacent magnetics at least one body width away.
The unshielded body and ferrite core are standard for this inductance range; the ±5% tolerance holds the value tighter than the more common ±10% or ±20% grades, useful for LC filter tuning or resonant circuits. Self-resonant frequency is 5 MHz — above that the inductor behaves capacitive, so keep the operating frequency below 1–2 MHz for reliable filtering.
