4.7 µH wirewound drum core for power-line filtering
The LQH32DN4R7M53L is a 4.7 µH ±20% unshielded wirewound drum core inductor in the Murata LQH32 series, built on a ferrite core and housed in a 1210 (3225 metric) surface-mount package. Rated for 650 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 130 mOhm — the DCR sets the I²R heating floor, so at full rated current the self-heating is roughly 55 mW, well within the 105°C operating ceiling. The self-resonant frequency of 43 MHz means this inductor behaves as an inductor up to that point; above 43 MHz parasitic capacitance dominates and the impedance rolls off, so it is suited for DC-DC converter output filtering and power rail smoothing where the switching fundamental stays well below 43 MHz.
1210 SMD footprint and board integration
Unshielded construction means the magnetic field radiates from the core — adjacent traces carrying sensitive analog signals or high-speed digital lines should be kept at least one package width away to avoid coupling.
