39 µH, 200 mA — where this inductor fits
The Murata LQH32DN390K23L is a 39 µH unshielded wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, rated for 200 mA continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 1.56 Ohm. The 39 µH value at 200 mA makes it a fit for low-current DC-DC converter output filters or signal-line chokes where the load stays under the current ceiling and the DCR drop (roughly 312 mV at full rated current) is within the rail budget.
Self-resonant frequency and the usable band
The self-resonant frequency (SRF) is 16 MHz. Above this frequency the inductor behaves capacitively, so the 39 µH value is only inductive well below 16 MHz — for a 1 MHz switching regulator the impedance is still inductive, but for a 10 MHz noise filter the margin is narrow. The inductance is tested at 1 MHz, confirming the intended operating band. The ferrite core and unshielded construction mean the magnetic field extends beyond the component body. In a dense layout, adjacent traces or other inductors may couple; keep a clearance of at least one component width to the nearest sensitive circuit.
Supplied on tape and reel or cut tape, compatible with standard pick-and-place. The unshielded construction does not affect reflow profile, but the ferrite core absorbs moisture — a 24-hour bake at 125°C before reflow is recommended if the reel has been exposed to humid storage.
