2.2 µH wirewound in the 1210 footprint
The Murata LQH32CN2R2M23L is a drum-core wirewound inductor in the LQH32 series, delivering 2.2 µH ±20% in the standard 1210 (3225 Metric) chip footprint. Rated for 600 mA continuous current with a maximum DCR of 169 mOhm, it handles typical DC-DC converter output filter and power rail decoupling duty within that current envelope.
Unshielded construction and layout spacing
This inductor is unshielded, meaning the magnetic field from the drum core radiates into the surrounding PCB area. Keep sensitive traces or low-impedance loops at least one part-width away to avoid coupling noise into adjacent circuitry. The self-resonant frequency is 64 MHz, so the component behaves inductively well below that point. Above it, parasitic capacitance dominates and the impedance drops — factor this into the switching frequency of any converter using this part.
Temperature range and storage note
The ferrite core material holds inductance stable across the band, though DCR rises with temperature per the normal copper curve.
