1 µH at 1 A — the DC-DC output filter workhorse
The Murata LQH32CN1R0M33L is a 1 µH drum-core wirewound inductor rated for 1 A continuous current in a standard 1210 (3225 metric) surface-mount package. The 100 MHz self-resonant frequency keeps the impedance inductive well above the switching ripple frequencies of common 500 kHz to 2 MHz buck converters. Below the SRF the choke presents a clean inductive impedance; above it the parasitic capacitance dominates and the part stops filtering. Unshielded construction means the magnetic field extends beyond the package body. On a dense PCB, keep a clearance of at least one body width to adjacent inductors or sensitive analog traces to avoid cross-coupling.
Active production, standard sourcing
The ±20% tolerance is typical for power-grade inductors where the DC-DC loop compensates for the inductance spread.
