1.5 kW peak pulse in an axial DO-201AE body
The 1.5KE440A-TP: The 418 V minimum breakdown voltage gives margin above the 376 V standoff, so the diode stays out of conduction during normal line ripple while firing fast when the surge arrives.
Through-hole axial for high-reliability power rails
Housed in a DO-201AE axial package, the 1.5KE440A-TP mounts through hole and is rated for continuous junction temperatures from -55 °C to 175 °C. The axial body handles the thermal pulse of a 1.5 kW surge without derating at room ambient, though the peak pulse power should be derated linearly above 25 °C per the device family curve. Power line protection is not claimed (the part is marked 'No' for that field), so this TVS is best applied on DC rails or signal lines where fast clamping is needed rather than on AC mains.
