1.5kW axial TVS for 342V rail protection
The 1.5KE400A-TP: Its 380V minimum breakdown voltage and 548V maximum clamping voltage define the protection window for a 342V reverse standoff line. Housed in a DO-201AE axial-lead package, it mounts through-hole and is rated for continuous junction temperatures from -55°C to 175°C. This is a unidirectional device with one protection channel, and it does not include power line protection features.
Voltage window and clamping margin
With a 342V reverse standoff voltage, the diode remains non-conductive under normal operating conditions up to that level. The breakdown is guaranteed to begin between 380V and the clamping ceiling of 548V at peak pulse current. The 175°C maximum junction temperature gives headroom for high ambient or sustained fault conditions, common in industrial power supplies and telecom rectifier outputs.
