Active-production TVS for telecom and automotive lines
The 1.5KE170A-TP: Automotive grade (AEC-Q101 qualified) means it passes the temperature cycling, ESD, and reliability screens required for under-hood or chassis-mounted electronics.
Clamping voltage and protection envelope
Reverse standoff voltage is 145V — the rail sits below this during normal operation without leakage. Breakdown triggers at 162V minimum, and the clamping voltage peaks at 234V at the 6.5A peak pulse current. The 234V clamp sets the maximum let-through voltage the downstream components must survive.
