The TPSE686M020R0150 is an active-production KYOCERA AVX molded tantalum capacitor from the TPS series, rated at 68 µF with a 20 V voltage rating and 150 mOhm maximum ESR at 100 kHz. The 150 mOhm ESR is the key figure for a decoupling or bulk storage application — it sets the ripple current capability and the self-heating under AC load. A lower ESR means less voltage droop during a transient and less internal heating in a power rail filter.

Rated for -55°C to +125°C operation, the part covers the full industrial temperature envelope and extends into automotive under-hood zones where the ambient may reach 105°C.
