The 65 mOhm ESR tells you how much ripple current the part can handle before self-heating becomes a problem.
ESR and ripple — the decision driver
At 65 mOhm, this cap's ESR is low enough for a switching-regulator output filter. In still air at 25°C, that is negligible; at 125°C the derating curve (not shown here) would be the next thing to check. If your load step exceeds the cap's ripple limit, you parallel two — the ESR halves, the dissipation splits.
