Molded tantalum, 3.3 µF at 25 V — the decoupling fit
The TPSB335M025R0750 is a molded tantalum capacitor from KYOCERA AVX's TPS series, rated 3.3 µF at 25 V with ±20% tolerance.
It fits avionics power rails, downhole instrumentation, and satellite bus decoupling where the ambient swings from cold-soak to internal heat rise. The molded case handles the thermal cycling without the mechanical stress that can crack conformally-coated wet tantalums.
The TPS series is a standard molded tantalum line, so production is expected to continue as long as the underlying tantalum powder supply holds.
Supplied in 1411 (3528 Metric) / 1210 case, Size Code B, on Tape & Reel. The 3.50 mm x 2.80 mm footprint with a seated height of 2.10 mm fits standard 0805/1206 pad layouts — no via-in-pad or buried via needed. The molded body is not moisture-sensitive like some polymer electrolytics, so dry-storage requirements are relaxed.
