The TAJB336K010A: The 33 µF capacitance at 10 V rated voltage covers the bulk-decoupling need for a 3.3 V or 5 V rail that sees a 10 V input transient — the 10 V rating gives headroom above the rail without oversizing to 16 V. 1.8 Ohm ESR is the main loss term: at 100 kHz the impedance is dominated by this resistance, so ripple current capability is ESR-limited rather than capacitance-limited. For a 500 mA load transient the self-heating stays under 10 °C if the PCB copper area is adequate.
