Temperature grade and reliability ceiling
The 2000 hours at 125°C is the accelerated life test condition; continuous operation at lower ambient temperatures extends useful life significantly. The molded case provides mechanical protection and moisture resistance compared to uncoated chip capacitors. The 1206 body's 0.071" seated height keeps the profile low for mezzanine or card-edge assemblies where clearance is tight.
