The reverse standoff voltage of 14 V defines the working rail it sits across — the clamping ceiling of 25.8 V at peak pulse current sets the maximum stress the protected circuit sees when a surge fires. The minimum breakdown of 15.6 V sits above the 14 V standoff, giving enough headroom that the device stays off during normal operation while responding fast enough to catch the event — the band between 14 V and 15.6 V is the guard zone.

The DO-214AB SMC package is the standard surface-mount footprint for 1.5 kW TVS diodes; it ships on strip for automated placement in panel or DIN-rail enclosure assemblies.
