The SMCJ22CA-13: With a 22 V reverse standoff voltage, it protects 24 V DC rails and 24 VAC signal lines from transients without conducting at the nominal operating voltage. The breakdown voltage window runs from 24.4 V minimum, so the part starts clamping before the downstream components see damaging overvoltage.

Housed in the DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package, the SMCJ22CA-13 shares the same footprint as other SMC-packaged TVS diodes, making it a drop-in replacement for existing 1500 W SMC layouts. The operating junction temperature range spans -55°C to 150°C, covering industrial and automotive under-hood thermal profiles.
