Package and rework — DO-214AC SMA on the bench
The SMAJ7.5CA-13: The DO-214AC SMA body is a two-terminal surface-mount package with a single cathode band — orientation is unambiguous, and the large solderable end caps reflow reliably under hot air or IR. No exposed thermal pad means the part self-heats through the leads and board copper; the 400W rating assumes a standard FR-4 footprint with adequate trace width to sink the pulse energy. Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR), it feeds directly into pick-and-place — no manual handling required for volume assembly.
