Rail-to-rail ESD clamp with 0.5 pF loading
The D5V0F4U10LP-7 is a four-channel steering (rail-to-rail) TVS diode array from Diodes Incorporated, designed to clamp ESD transients on high-speed differential signal lines. Its 0.5 pF typical capacitance per channel at 1 MHz keeps the signal eye open at multi-gigabit data rates — critical for HDMI 1.4/2.0 TMDS lanes where added capacitive loading directly shrinks the voltage margin. The 5.5 V maximum reverse standoff voltage means the device stays transparent below the HDMI common-mode range; breakdown begins at 6 V minimum, so the clamp activates before the downstream receiver's ESD threshold is exceeded. The U-DFN2510-10 package (2.5 mm × 1.0 mm, 0.50 mm pitch) routes four signal channels plus the rail and ground connections in a single small-outline no-lead footprint.
Active production, HDMI-specific protection
The operating temperature range spans -55°C to +150°C junction, covering the full industrial and automotive ambient envelope — useful if the HDMI port sits near a hot processor or in an outdoor display. Power line protection is enabled internally, meaning the device can absorb repetitive ESD events without degradation. The tape-and-reel packaging (Cut Tape also available) suits automated pick-and-place assembly; store the reels in a dry cabinet if the ambient humidity exceeds 60% RH, as the U-DFN package is moisture-sensitive per JEDEC level 1 classification.
