For a BOM line that must stay active, a parametric search on 1500 W bidirectional TVS in DO-201 with a 185 V standoff voltage will identify functionally equivalent parts from other suppliers – but no pin-compatible drop-in replacement is documented by Diodes.
Package and board integration – DO-201 axial leaded
The DO-201AA / DO-27 axial-leaded package is a through-hole form factor common in high-reliability and high-surge applications. The axial leads allow the body to be mounted above the board for convection cooling or conformal coating clearance – the lead bend radius must not stress the glass passivation at the body exit. Supplied in Bulk – no tape-and-reel packaging, so hand-insertion or tube-fed assembly lines need a feeder change.
