This bidirectional Zener TVS diode protects a single line against transients in both polarities. The 13.6 V reverse standoff voltage (V_RWM) means the line can carry a 13.6 V DC rail without the diode conducting in standby — no leakage penalty on a 12 V or 13.6 V bus. The DO-201 footprint is a standard axial diode layout — the lead spacing and body diameter match the common 1.5KE series land pattern.
