Active production, 1500 W Zener TVS in SMC
The 1.5SMC180A TR13 PBFREE: The 154 V reverse standoff voltage means it stays transparent on a nominal 150 V rail, clamping at 246 V when the transient hits. Operating junction temperature spans -65°C to 150°C, covering the full industrial and most automotive under-hood ambient ranges without derating at the high end.
Field-fit: package, orientation, and the 6.1 A pulse
The SMC body is large enough to hand-solder with a standard iron — no hot-air station required for a single swap on a board. Polarity is marked with a cathode band on the body; the unidirectional channel means orientation matters, but the band is visible under most conformal coatings. Peak pulse current is 6.1 A at the 10/1000 µs test condition. That figure is the current through the device at the clamping voltage — useful for estimating the I²t stress on the PCB trace feeding the TVS. Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR) with a Cut Tape (CT) option, so it fits both high-volume pick-and-place and prototype hand-assembly without minimum reel commitment.
