Single comparator with rail-to-rail push-pull output
The MAX9030AXT+T is a single general-purpose comparator from Analog Devices, built for fast level detection and signal conditioning in tight spaces. It delivers a push-pull, rail-to-rail output stage that drives logic inputs directly without a pull-up resistor, saving a component on the BOM. The 228 ns propagation delay keeps the signal chain responsive for sensor thresholding, zero-crossing detectors, and over-voltage protection loops. Supply range spans 2.5 V to 5.5 V. Internal 4 mV hysteresis cleans up noisy edges on slow-moving analog signals. The SC-70-6 package (also listed as SC-88, SOT-363) occupies minimal board area, fitting space-constrained designs like handheld instruments and sensor modules. Operating temperature covers -40°C to 125°C.
228 ns propagation delay — what it means for the loop
At 228 ns max, this comparator responds fast enough for power-supply fault detection and over-current trip circuits in switching converters.
Active production, RoHS3 compliant
The MAX9030AXT+T carries an Active lifecycle status with ROHS3 compliance. It is available through independent distribution, sourced and quoted to order against an RFQ.
