Four-channel capacitive isolator for industrial signal paths
The MAX14936FAWE+ is a 4-channel general-purpose digital isolator from Maxim Integrated, built on capacitive coupling technology. It provides 5000 Vrms of galvanic isolation across a 16-SOIC package, with unidirectional channels configured as two inputs on side 1 and two on side 2. The part handles data rates up to 150 Mbps, with typical propagation delays under 7.5 ns and pulse-width distortion held to 1 ns max — tight enough for SPI clock isolation and UART links in motor drives, PLC I/O modules, and industrial sensor interfaces.
