5 V registered PAL in a 28-PLCC — timing and supply constraints
The PAL18L4CNL is an electrically erasable PAL device with a 40 ns propagation delay. It operates on a 4.75 V to 5.25 V supply.
Programming and JEDEC file support
As an electrically erasable PAL, the PAL18L4CNL is programmed using standard PAL programmer hardware that supports 28-pin PLCC devices. A JEDEC fuse-map file is required; most legacy PAL compilers (CUPL, PALASM) can generate the.JED output. The part is in-system reprogrammable if the programmer supports the PLCC footprint — no UV erasure needed.
