Eight-channel simultaneous-sampling ADC for polyphase metering and industrial analog front-ends
The Texas Instruments ADS131M08IRSNR is an 8-channel, 24-bit sigma-delta ADC with eight dedicated converters — one per differential input — so all channels sample simultaneously at 32 kSPS each. No input multiplexer, no inter-channel phase delay. That makes this part a direct fit for polyphase energy metering, protective relay current/voltage sensing, and multi-axis vibration monitoring where you need time-coherent data across every channel. Each channel includes a PGA ahead of the modulator. The reference can be internal or external, and the digital interface is SPI. The package is a 32-pin WFQFN with exposed pad (4 mm × 4 mm QFN), surface-mount only.
