Parametric fit for a power rail filter
The LBC3225T330MR is a 33 µH wirewound inductor from Taiyo Yuden's LB, C Type series, in a 1210 (3225 Metric) surface-mount package. Its 300 mA current rating and 410 mOhm DCR define the DC bias and conduction loss for a power rail filter or DC-DC converter output stage. Unshielded construction means the magnetic field is not contained within a ferrite shield — adjacent traces or components on the same layer may couple noise, so layout clearance matters more than with a shielded part. The self-resonant frequency of 13 MHz sets the usable frequency ceiling; above that the inductor behaves capacitively, so it is best suited for switching regulators switching below a few megahertz.
NRND — what it means for your BOM line
Existing designs can continue to use it, but new board spins should evaluate a replacement before the part moves to end-of-life. A parametric search for a 33 µH, 300 mA, 1210 shielded or semi-shielded inductor from the same or a compatible family is the practical migration path.
Board-fit and operating range
Inductance is tested at 100 kHz.
