NRND — plan the BOM migration
The LBC3225T100KR: Existing production runs can still be supported through independent distribution, but new board spins should evaluate a replacement inductor before the supply window closes.
10 µH, 540 mA — the power rail fit
This is a 10 µH unshielded wirewound inductor rated for 540 mA continuous current with a DC resistance of 133 mOhm. The DCR at this current level produces a self-heating of I²R ≈ 39 mW, well within the 105°C operating ceiling for most board-level power filters or DC-DC output chokes. The self-resonant frequency is 23 MHz; above that the impedance becomes capacitive, so this part suits switching frequencies up to a few megahertz — typical for buck converters in the 500 kHz to 2 MHz range.
1210 footprint — board layout note
The unshielded construction means the magnetic field extends beyond the package — keep sensitive traces or other magnetics at least one part-width away to avoid coupling. Supplied on tape and reel (cut tape available), compatible with standard pick-and-place equipment. The ±10% tolerance is typical for power-grade inductors; for filter applications requiring tighter inductance, a ±5% or ±2% grade should be specified.
