The 45 mA current rating and 36.4 Ohm max DCR define the DC bias point — at full rated current, the copper loss alone is about 73 mW, a factor in thermal budgeting for the 1007 package. Unshielded construction means the magnetic field extends beyond the component body. In a dense layout, adjacent traces or low-impedance loops within the near field may couple noise; keep sensitive routing at least one body width away.
Self-resonant frequency and test conditions
Self-resonant frequency is 3 MHz, measured with the inductance test at 796 kHz. Above SRF, the impedance becomes capacitive — this inductor is suited for DC-DC output filtering and low-frequency EMI suppression below 2 MHz, not for RF tank circuits.
