The STMicroelectronics TDA7265 is a Class AB stereo audio amplifier delivering 25 W per channel into 8 Ω loads. It runs from a split supply of ±5 V to ±25 V.
Built-in protection features reduce external BOM
Depop and mute circuits suppress turn-on thumps and clicks — no extra relay or muting transistor needed on the output. Short-circuit and thermal protection are on-die; the part shuts down before the voice coil or the heatsink sees damage. Standby mode cuts quiescent draw when the amp is idle. These integrated blocks simplify the PCB layout and keep the component count low.
