Digital OAQ sensor for indoor air monitoring
The ZMOD4510AI3R is a Renesas integrated OAQ (Outdoor Air Quality) sensor that reports air quality data over an I²C digital interface, eliminating the need for an external ADC and simplifying the sensor-to-MCU connection. Rated accuracy of ±2% gives the system designer confidence in the reported index for threshold-based ventilation or air purifier control loops. With a supply voltage of 1.7 V and typical current consumption of 11 µA, this sensor fits into low-power, battery-operated or always-on sensing nodes where every microamp matters.
Operating range and packaging options
The -40°C to 65°C temperature range covers indoor commercial and industrial environments but does not extend to extended outdoor or automotive under-hood applications. Available in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) packaging, the ZMOD4510AI3R supports both automated pick-and-place assembly and prototype hand-assembly quantities.
