54 MHz RXv2 core with 256 KB flash
The R5F52316CGFM#30 is a 32-bit single-core MCU from the RX231 series, built around the RXv2 core running at 54 MHz. The 54 MHz clock rate gives the RXv2 core enough headroom for sensor-fusion algorithms and real-time control loops, while the 256 KB flash leaves room for a full RTOS and application stack.
Industrial temperature grade and wide supply range
The supply voltage spans 1.8V to 5.5V, so it can run on a single 3.3V or 5V rail — no extra regulator needed for the core.
Active production — no last-time-buy risk
It is ROHS3 compliant.
Peripheral set and package
On-chip peripherals include capacitive touch, DMA, LVD, POR, PWM, and WDT. Connectivity covers I²C, IrDA, SCI, SPI, SSI, and USB OTG. The 12-bit ADC has 12 channels, and there are two 12-bit DACs. Housed in a 64-LQFP package with a 10x10 mm body.
