Memory and peripheral sizing
The R5F10FMEDFB#V0: 64 KB of on-chip Flash (64K x 8) and 4 KB RAM leave room for a modest application stack plus a lightweight RTOS — budget about 8–12 KB for the HAL and scheduler, leaving ~50 KB for application code. The 4 KB EEPROM (4K x 8) stores calibration constants or configuration data without needing an external serial EEPROM, saving a BOM line and board space. 17 analog input channels with selectable 8- or 12-bit resolution cover multi-sensor front-ends — the 12-bit mode gives 4.9 mV resolution at a 5 V reference, adequate for most industrial transducer signals.
