Single-channel optocoupler with 5000Vrms isolation for industrial and power applications
The PS2561DL-1Y-V-F3-A from the NEPOC series is a 1-channel DC-input, transistor-output optocoupler in a surface-mount 4-SMD gull wing package. It provides 5000Vrms galvanic isolation, making it a fit for isolating logic signals across a safety barrier in switch-mode power supplies, motor drives, PLC digital inputs, and industrial sensor interfaces.
80 V output and 50 mA drive — sizing for relay and logic loads
The output transistor is rated for 80 V maximum collector-emitter voltage and 50 mA continuous output current per channel. That covers driving small relays, solid-state relays, or the input of a downstream logic gate without an extra buffer. The 300 mV Vce saturation at the rated current keeps dissipation low enough that the 4-SMD package can handle it without a heatsink in most layouts.
The wide range also gives headroom for derating when running near the 50 mA output limit at elevated ambient.
Current transfer ratio and switching speed
CTR ranges from 50% to 400% at 5 mA forward current. Rise and fall times are 3 µs and 5 µs typical.
