8-bit, 2-channel DAC — what the function means for the board
The M62337FP#DF0R: This is an 8-bit, 2-channel digital-to-analog converter. Eight bits of resolution gives 256 discrete output levels per channel — adequate for trim, bias, or set-point generation where the step size (roughly 19.5 mV on a 5 V reference) is fine enough for the loop. Two independent channels let one device handle two analog outputs from a single digital bus, saving board space and bus load compared to two single-channel parts.
ROHS3 compliance — mandatory for current builds
Rated ROHS3 Compliant, so it passes the substance-restriction threshold for most commercial and industrial assemblies without an exemption carve-out.
