PWM controller, 1 MHz switching, 10-MSOP
The ISL6745AAUZ from Renesas is a PWM controller supporting step-up/step-down regulation with full-bridge or half-bridge topology — the 99% max duty cycle and up to 1 MHz switching frequency give it the headroom for compact magnetics in isolated DC-DC converters. Two transistor-driver outputs with positive, isolation-capable configuration suit it for push-pull and bridge stages where galvanic isolation is required on the secondary side.
Supplied in a tube of 10-MSOP (3.00 mm width) surface-mount packages — the 0.118-inch body width fits standard MSOP-10 land patterns with 0.50 mm pitch. Control features include frequency adjustment and soft-start, with no clock-sync pin — the switching frequency is set by an external resistor and capacitor, not locked to a system clock.
