16-bit latched transceiver for 5V bus systems
The IDT74FCT16543TPA is a 16-bit non-inverting transceiver with 3-state outputs, built in the FAST FCT logic family. It integrates two 8-bit elements, each with its own latch-enable and output-enable controls, for bidirectional data flow between two 8-bit buses.
Output drive and temperature range
The transceiver can source 32mA and sink 64mA per output, providing enough drive for heavily loaded parallel buses without external buffers.
Housed in a 56-TFSOP package (0.240", 6.10mm width) with surface-mount termination, the part requires a fine-pitch PCB footprint and careful solder-paste stencil design.
