Sensor fusion for environmental monitoring
The Renesas HS3004 is a combined humidity and temperature sensor from the HS300x family, delivering 14-bit digital readings over an I²C bus. It measures relative humidity across the full 0 to 100% RH span with a typical accuracy of ±3.5% RH, and temperature from -40°C to 125°C — covering industrial and outdoor ambient ranges without an external thermistor. A 6 ms response time means the sensor tracks fast humidity transients — useful in HVAC damper control or condensation detection where the control loop needs sub-second updates.
